The company from southern Germany works 100% climate-neutrally , runs almost self-sufficiently and offsets all emissions that it cannot influence through climate projects . Lunor stands for Slow Eyewear and offers timeless designs that stand the test of time regardless of fast-moving trends and can be worn for a wide variety of styles over many years. They rely on high-quality materials and fair production of these. All Lunor glasses are handcrafted in more than 200 work steps in southern Germany. Incidentally, the first glasses from Lunor were gold glasses, the Lunette d'Or, from which the current name of the company is derived.
During the Opti, a large
trade fair for optics and design
that we visited in January, I was able to discover and try out some models from Lunor. Finally, I decided on
the A11 model
a classic design with a dark, but still narrow frame. The A11 is made of acetate, i.e. plastic made from pure cotton. Why I chose this model in Havana Dark is very simple: it is classically elegant and goes with almost all of my looks.
If you've been following me for a long time, you will know that I do not need prescription and that I mainly use glasses as fashion accessories. I think that beautiful glasses can add a special accent to the face and make many outfits look more complete. In the last few years I have collected and tried out a few glasses, but just like with jewelry I always use the same ones. Here, too, I prefer to focus on quality over quantity.
